Inspired by one of our customer’s family recipes, the Potato Silverbeet Tart is one of our favourite winter tarts. The crunchy sunflower seeds combined with heartwarming potato and silverbeet, create the most delicious savoury tart. Bon appétit!
Potato Silverbeet Tart
Ingredients
- 1 roll Paneton savoury pastry
- 2 cups silverbeet lightly sautéed
- 1 cup potato cubes al dente
- 2 eggs whisked
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C
- Butter a tin or use baking paper and line it with pastry
- In a bowl, mix silverbeet with eggs
- Pour onto the pastry
- Sprinkle with sunflower seeds over the top
- Bake for approximately 35 minutes until golden brown
