Golden Queen Peach Almond Tart

The best part with of baking a tart is how easy it is to put together and enjoy right out of the oven! This recipe is in the same vein, featuring golden queen peaches and a sprinkle of almonds.

Golden Queen Peach Almond Tart

Course: Dessert

Ingredients
  

  • 1 roll Paneton flaky pastry
  • 4 Golden Queen Peaches
  • 3 tbsp almonds sliced
  • 2 tbsp sugar

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C
  2. Line a baking tray with baking paper (we used a cake pan to hold it in shape while cooking this time)
  3. Cut Flaky pastry to size – we used a dinner plate and cut around for the shape
  4. Slice fruit up and arrange onto the pastry disk
  5. Sprinkle with a little sugar and almonds
  6. Bake for 10 minutes at 200°C then reduce to 170°C and cook until golden and pastry is cooked through
  7. Serve with a dollop of cream or ice cream
