The best part with of baking a tart is how easy it is to put together and enjoy right out of the oven! This recipe is in the same vein, featuring golden queen peaches and a sprinkle of almonds.
Golden Queen Peach Almond Tart
Ingredients
- 1 roll Paneton flaky pastry
- 4 Golden Queen Peaches
- 3 tbsp almonds sliced
- 2 tbsp sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200°C
- Line a baking tray with baking paper (we used a cake pan to hold it in shape while cooking this time)
- Cut Flaky pastry to size – we used a dinner plate and cut around for the shape
- Slice fruit up and arrange onto the pastry disk
- Sprinkle with a little sugar and almonds
- Bake for 10 minutes at 200°C then reduce to 170°C and cook until golden and pastry is cooked through
- Serve with a dollop of cream or ice cream
