Apple Crumble Slice

Ingredients
  

  • 1 roll Paneton sweet pastry
  • 4-6 apples pealed, chunky diced
  • 50 g butter
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla bean extract
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup icing sugar

Method
 

  1. Place a baking tray into the middle level of the oven and preheat to 180°C
  2. Line a slice tin with baking paper
  3. Press pastry into the base and set aside in the fridge
  4. In a pan, melt butter and almond butter until they are combined
  5. In a mixing bowl, combine remaining ingredients and mix in melted butter
  6. Scatter apple chunks over the pastry base
  7. Spread the mix over the top
  8. Bake for 35 minutes until it is golden brown
  9. To finish, drizzle with icing sugar when cool
